Description/Job Summary

AgChoice is looking for a Loan Accounting Manager to work from our Mechanicsburg office. The position will perform complex accounting tasks related to the maintenance of accurate and complete loan accounting records/financial reports. The Loan Accounting Manager supervises and mentors a team of Loan Accountants.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Communicates effectively with the branch teams via telephone, mail and electronic communications
  • Reviews and processes loan activity requests and note modifications
  • Manages and monitors key loan system processes that are visible to customers.
  • Understands non-accrual accounting and coordinates non-accrual transactions.
  • Maintain accurate customer and business records through CRM system.
  • Builds strong internal relationships and provides timely and accurate service.
  • Continually demonstrates a commitment to mentoring.
  • Support the sales of all products and services


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Works well in team environment to accomplish team goals
  • Strong knowledge of multiple computer software applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Generally 2-5 years of related experience, preferably some of which includes supervising others.
  • Education or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, paralegal experience
  • Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and required formats to recognize and correct correspondence and reports
  • Working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to non-consumer loan processing
  • Organized and able to work independently under general supervision
